 2011 - The Launch of the Legacy
In
March 2011 Envirodeck launched its new composite
decking range into the market. The Legacy
range is a top end product that delivers on performance and
beauty.
American researched and developed, the Legacy range will outperform any other composite product.
Envirodeck Legacy is manufactured under numerous patented processes and the main patented process - which is the pride of the Legacy range - is the total encapsulation process which allows the entire wood fibre |

to be encapsulated by the high density polyethylene.
The extrusion method allows the boards to cool slowly and individually - this ensures that the boards do not warp or twist. As you can see, very little was left to chance and only quality was thought of when producing this product.

Leaving a Legacy - CarbonWorx
In early 2011 Envirodeck and CarbonWorx partnered in an undertaking that for every 50m² of decking purchased, a free starter pack (including a CarbonWorx card and first indigenous tree) will be given to the purchasing customer.
This initiative is on its first project which is aiming to afforest the Eastern Cape area of Umtata. |

Envirodeck will be off-setting their carbon footprint by purchasing the starter packs on behalf of customers. By doing this we encourage customers to participate in this initiative and to further off-set their own carbon footprint.

Green Building Conference

With this in mind, Envirodeck attended and exhibited its product range at the conference which attracts Africa's leading industry designers, specifiers and decision makers such as architects, engineers, project managers, product suppliers and government officials.
Actively marketing the 'Live Green' campaign for some time now, Envirodeck is very encouraged to see the extent to which practitioners within the built profession have started to now embrace the 'green' imperative.

way the developers and the general public have now also embraced the Envirodeck 'Live Green' ideal - to the extent that they are now putting pressure on the professionals to step up to the plate in delivering products and services that go beyond the environmentally outdated design practises towards embracing sustainability.
We are impressed with the success and the growth of the show and will continue to showcase our products at the Green Building conference.
